When used correctly, behavioural traffic lights and<a class="seo" href="https://www.timetex.com/en-de/c/school/teacher-needs/teaching-aids/noise-lights/">noise traffic lights </a> are a valuable educational tool for facilities such as nurseries, kindergartens and elementary schools. It is important that you as a specialist discuss the individual <a class="seo" href="https://www.timetex.com/en-de/c/school/teacher-needs/teaching-aids/signalers-rest-signals/">loud signals and quiet signals</a> with your class, for example which behaviour leads to which reaction.
<h3>The behaviour traffic light as a reward system</h3>
The traffic light can be used primarily as a praise and reward system. Good performance, positive social behaviour and active cooperation can be rewarded immediately. Everything is fine (green light) the corresponding pupil's name is noted on the small labels included in the set and attached to the green field with the happy smiley. This allows you as a teacher to give your pupils positive reinforcement. This motivates and encourages them to work better. The whole class can also be praised when all the kids are in the green zone.

The yellow light shows a neutral smiley. It serves to prevent further misbehaviour. For the children, it is a signal in case of minor rule violations.
