Accessibility
We appreciate your interest in the accessibility of our online presence.
We want everyone to be able to use our online shop without limitations. That’s why we are committed to digital accessibility and are continuously working to make our offerings accessible to all. Accessibility is a central part of our commitment to actively promote inclusion and create a shopping experience that is truly for everyone.
Therefore, we strive to make our online presence accessible in accordance with the national transposition laws of Directive (EU) 2019/882.
This Accessibility Statement applies to: www.timetex.com
1. General Description of the Service
Through our online presence, we provide you with access to our online shop. This is an electronic service within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the national laws transposing it.
In our online shop, you can:
- purchase goods.
- purchase digital content. Digital content is a resource provided online. Unlike purchasing physical products, you do not receive a tangible item but rather the right to use the content. The specific terms are outlined in the Terms and Conditions and/or the respective product page.
2. Descriptions and explanations necessary to understand the provision of the service
On the product pages, you can initially add our products to the shopping cart without obligation. You can modify your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained during the ordering process. The available payment methods are listed during the checkout process.
3. Description of Compliance with Accessibility Requirements
3.1 Application of Harmonized Standards and Technical Specifications
Our online presence complies partially with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version: 2.1. It meets level AA.
The WCAG are an international standard for accessibility guidelines, developed and maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the body responsible for standardizing web technologies. The goal of these guidelines is to create structures for digital offerings that enable access and use for all persons in terms of digital accessibility.
3.2 Supportive Measures
Our website provides the following supportive measures:
We are committed to ensuring that our digital content and services are accessible to everyone, regardless of their individual abilities. That is why we are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our website and are currently in the process of gradually rectifying any identified shortcomings.
The following measures have already been implemented or are currently in progress:
- Structured information architecture
- Optimisations to improve the orientation and comprehensibility of our website through clear visual and semantic structuring of content
- Support for keyboard operability for many central elements
- Responsive design, i.e. content remains legible and usable even at higher zoom levels
- Enrichment of the existing HTML structure with semantically meaningful HTML elements
- Optimisation of contrasts and text sizes of existing content
- Continuous testing and optimisation of our content and functions for accessibility
- Integration of an easily accessible inclusive toolkit that allows users to easily adapt content to their needs
Content that is not yet fully accessible:
- Some interactive components, such as buttons, links or selection fields, still lack clear focus highlighting or the option of standard-compliant keyboard control. Measures: All affected elements will be adapted in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirements by the end of 2025.
- Individual HTML structures and link labels need to be optimised. In some cases, consistent wording and correct markup are still missing. Measures: All affected elements will be adapted in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirements by the end of 2025.
- Some PDF documents are not accessible. These documents are currently difficult to read for assistive technologies. Measures: The revision of all relevant PDF documents is planned. Accessible versions will be available by the end of 2025 at the latest.
- Our product and explanatory videos do not currently have subtitles or audio descriptions. This limits their usability for people with hearing and visual impairments. Measures: The videos will be revised gradually. Subtitles and audio descriptions will be added by the end of 2025 at the latest.
- Some controls (e.g. buttons, links, navigation) do not yet meet the required contrast ratio, which makes them difficult to read, especially for people with visual impairments. Measures: All affected elements will be adapted in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 contrast requirements by the end of 2025.
- Certain interactive areas (e.g. shopping cart, forms, product filters) currently do not contain sufficient ARIA attributes. This limits usability with screen readers. Measures: Correct ARIA attributes will be implemented gradually by the end of 2025.
- Some of our forms have missing or insufficient labels, and error messages are sometimes not correctly passed on to screen readers. Measures: All affected elements will be adapted in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirements by the end of 2025.
- Some of our images/graphics have insufficient or missing alternative text, and purely decorative elements are sometimes not marked as such. Measures: All affected elements will be adapted in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirements by the end of 2025.
